Pauline comes from a challenging background.  She lost her father in 2012.  Her Grandmother and mother are HIV positive and unable to care for her needs.  They are sadly living a life of poverty.  Pauline is a very bright young girl and she does extremely well with her academics and she is supported by Imani Orphan Care for boarding school and her hygiene needs.
