Godwin comes from a poor family with 8 children under the care of their single mother.  She could no longer provide care for Godwin so he was brought to Imani Home of Love to receive the care that he needs.  Godwin is a very polite and cheerful boy and he helps in the home by fetching the firewood needed for cooking.  His favorite subject in school is science and his favorite activity is football.
