Resiato lived with a guardian before coming to live at the Imani Home of Love.  Her guardian lived in a rental house and they depended on casual labor for meeting their daily needs.  There was not enough income to educate Resiato so the guardian felt that it was best for her to receive care at the orphanage where she would be ensured an education for her future.  Resiato is a very polite kind and gentle child and a pleasure to have in the home.
