Ronah Tukene Loondale IOC283
Country: Kenya
Year of Birth:2003
Ronah has a mother and father still alive and she came into Imani’s care due to the threat of Female genital mutilation (FGM). Unfortunately, this practice is still done within the Maasai community where Imani works. Ronah and her younger sister Everline fled their village because their family was planning on performing FGM on them and they were to be married off to older men after this was done. This is the sad reality that many girls face and a big reason that Imani works in this region of Kenya. Imani is thankful that Ronah is now a part of our Imani family. We know that God has much in store for Ronah and her sister.
